Académie diplomatique et consulaire
Created in May 2024 following the États généraux de la diplomatie (Diplomatic Forum), the Diplomatic and Consular Academy, headed by Didier Le Bret, aims primarily to be a dedicated centre for initial and continuing training for officials of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE), as well as for those who wish to join the ministry.
Its second ambition is to serve as an interface with the outside world, including the research community, universities and think tanks, young people, economic decision-makers, the press, elected officials, associations and local authorities, all of whom are key partners in diplomacy that is open to civil society.
