Doctor in contemporary history and international relations, Lama Fakih is the author of a thesis on Qatar’s foreign policy under the reign of Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani (1995-2013). 

She has been a lecturer and researcher at Saint Joseph University of Beirut since 2015, teaching courses on the history and current affairs of the contemporary Middle East. The Arabian Peninsula, as well as Lebanon and Hezbollah, are her main areas of expertise.
