Olivier Guillard

Specialist in Asia, researcher at CERIAS (University of Quebec in Montreal), associate researcher at the Institute of Applied Geopolitical Studies, Dr. Olivier Guillard is notably the author of the books What to do with Korea? Endure, despise or punish? (NUVIS, 2019), Geopolitics of India (PUF, 2016), A dangerous abyss called Pakistan (L’Harmattan, 2022), Burma 2020 (Dalloz, 2009).

Among other regions of Asia, he has extensively traveled in India, South Korea, Afghanistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal, Cambodia, and Bangladesh.

Holder of a Doctorate in Public International Law from the University of Paris XI, he is also Director of Information at Crisis24 (GARDAWORLD), a consulting and engineering firm specializing in the analysis and management of international risks, and a lecturer (geopolitics) at EDHEC (Lille).
