Alban Schwerer has been an analyst in the Strategy and Forecasting Department of the French Development Agency (AFD) since September 2024.

Previously posted to the French embassies in Kabul (2014) and Islamabad (2015-2016), he has also served as an assessor at the National Court of Asylum and held various positions within the AFD, including a post in Mauritania.
