Caroline Villordin is a qualified teacher of history and geography, civic education (EMC) and social sciences (HGGSP), committed to educational innovation and the community life of history and geography teachers. Having trained in history and geography at the University of Paris IV Sorbonne, she has been teaching since 2010 at secondary level, from lower secondary to upper secondary school and into higher education, developing classroom practices based on games, humour and creative activities to strengthen pupils’ skills and knowledge.
A long-standing member of Les Clionautes, she served as the Clio-collège liaison, then as a member of the editorial committee, before becoming the association’s treasurer in 2023; in 2024, she obtained the DNL English certification, further broadening her scope of educational practice.
Based in the Nantes area, she regularly takes part in events and group discussions on the teaching of history and geography, such as the Rendez-vous de l’histoire in Blois, where she emphasises the importance of play and the search for meaning in learning.
