Born in Rennes, Rachel enrolled in the Ciné Sup preparatory class in Nantes after completing her baccalaureate. She then studied art history and philosophy in Paris, before joining the NGO Life Project 4 Youth, where she spent more than two years working in the field to develop programmes in India and the Middle East.

At the end of 2022, she returned to cinema and began work on I Am The Future, her first feature-length documentary, which was released in cinemas in September 2025. In it, she follows four young people whose journeys, between France, Indonesia, India and Lebanon, explore the themes of exile, the place of women, transmission and possible futures. In December 2025, she accepted a humanitarian mission with the NGO A Drop in the Ocean in a refugee camp on Lesbos, where she is preparing a new film, continuing her humanitarian and artistic commitment.
