Geneviève Goëtzinger

Geneviève Goëtzinger has been president of imaGGe, a political and communications strategy consulting agency, since 2019.

Originally a political journalist, then managing director of Radio France Internationale, she has acquired in-depth knowledge of the African continent through her various previous experiences. Her expertise is multifaceted: political and communications strategy consulting, crisis communications, speechwriting, media training, and public affairs.

  • She has advised or currently advises leading African figures in several countries in West and Central Africa. She has supported certain candidates during election campaigns.
  • She is a member of the editorial board of the Nouvelle Revue Politique, launched in December 2025.
  • She is the initiator and co-author of the book "25 lettres au président Mohamed Bazoum" (25 letters to President Mohamed Bazoum), a plea for the release of the former President of the Republic of Niger, published in December 2024 by Karthala.
  • Coordinator of the special issue of the Revue Politique et Parlementaire entitled "Africa, from independence to sovereignty" published in May 2023, she regularly participates in symposiums on current events on the African continent.
  • She is a frequent contributor to French media outlets as well as pan-African media (Vox Africa and TéléSud Global Africa).
  • A member of the Overseas Academy of Sciences, she participated in a working group dedicated to reflecting on the evolution of relations between France and the African continent.


Geneviève Goëtzinger is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Synopia Institute, which focuses on governance issues.

She was a member of the 2018, 2019, and 2020 juries for the preparatory cycle for the third ENA competition. She was also a member of the steering committee of UN Women France until its dissolution in 2025.
