A lecturer in Spanish at Sciences Po Paris from 1990 to 2015, she has devoted her career to teaching Spanish democracy and Franco-Spanish intercultural management. With a postgraduate degree from Paris 8 University on the transformation of societies and cultures in Europe, she has developed recognised expertise in intercultural analysis and European dynamics.
She began her career in Madrid as a lecturer at the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1972–1977), before joining the World Organisation for Animal Health, where she worked as a trilingual translator-reviser and protocol officer (1980–1984). At the same time, she held training management positions at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (1990-2010), specialising in educational engineering and the validation of prior learning.
Committed to Franco-Spanish relations, she is Honorary Consul of Spain for Normandy and actively works to develop cultural and institutional exchanges. In particular, she has contributed to the establishment of a friendship treaty between Trouville and Cuenca, the organisation of international conferences and the promotion of educational exchanges. As president of the Trouville and Cuenca association, she organises cultural and educational projects, including language stays for young people.
Deeply involved in cultural life, she chairs the Association des Amis du Musée de Trouville (Friends of the Trouville Museum Association) and oversees the publication of the heritage magazine Athena. She is also a member of the Dialogo association and regularly lectures at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Consejo General del Poder Judicial on the Spanish democratisation process and intercultural issues.
Author of several books and articles, she is particularly interested in the historical and cultural relations between France and Spain. Her publications include Sur les pas d'Isabelle II, reine d'Espagne en exil à Paris (In the footsteps of Isabella II, Queen of Spain in exile in Paris) (L'Harmattan, 2018), Alphonse XIII, roi d'Espagne à Deauville (Alphonse XIII, King of Spain in Deauville) (2016) and Gastronomie et politique : une autre approche interculturelle franco-espagnole (Gastronomy and politics: another Franco-Spanish intercultural approach) (L'Harmattan, 2014). She is currently conducting research on Raimundi, Spanish vice-consul in Trouville in 1870
