The Normandy Region is organizing the 8th edition of the Normandy World Peace Forum on April 9th and 10th 2026, at the Abbaye aux Dames in Caen. This edition, themed "(no) Hope for Peace", will host conferences, debates, youth workshops, screenings, and the Village for Peace.

Without ignoring the realities of a world where crises and conflicts are multiplying and international law is being challenged on all sides, this 8th edition of the Forum chooses to provide keys to understanding and reasons for hope by placing a strong emphasis on youth engagement. . By exploring the new global landscape that is emerging, the programme will invite participants to take a step back from the constant flow of anxiety-provoking information. The objective? To help everyone overcome this feeling of powerlessness and identify concrete levers for building tomorrow's peace together.

The event is free and open to all.
