In a rapidly changing international context, understanding how peace is built also involves discovering those who defend it on a daily basis. This session offers high school students an immersion into the heart of diplomacy through the testimonies of personalities representing its different facets: state diplomacy in embassies or consulates, paradiplomacy, and decentralized cooperation. By sharing their missions, their experiences in the field, and the challenges they face, these speakers will reveal the richness and diversity of a world that is often misunderstood. The interactive workshop will give young people the opportunity to ask questions, discover these international career paths, explore the behind-the-scenes world of international relations, and gain a better understanding of how diplomacy contributes every day, at all levels, to preventing crises and building paths to peace.
