Audrey Randriamandrato is an activist committed to women's rights and gender minorities in Madagascar and within its diasporas. She grew up in Madagascar until the age of 18 and developed a strong commitment to her country. Founder of the Malagasy Women Empowerment (MWE) movement in 2018, she campaigns against period poverty and raises awareness about empowerment and bodily autonomy (campaign for reusable sanitary pads, raising awareness about gender-based violence, feminist media). As a creator of socially conscious content, she uses social media to give visibility to people from immigrant backgrounds in France. Her struggles reflect her own history, but also that of women who should never have to repeat it.
She contributed to the media coverage and preservation of a clear narrative of the events of GEN Z MADAGASCAR from September 25, 2025, in the international media. This was followed by the creation of a fund and support initiatives (free helplines) by the diaspora to support the protesters (demonstrations, supplies, care for the wounded, communications initiatives) and the collection of medical supplies to be sent to Madagascar during the demonstrations. The topic is the mobilization of the African diaspora in Europe for a possible and significant commitment, even from a distance.
