Lucy Coley has over a decade of experience in designing and coordinating programmes in the humanitarian sector, in contexts including Pakistan, Nigeria, Libya, and Somalia. Since January 2023, Lucy has been leading the Programme Quality department at Acted HQ, overseeing the organisation’s MEAL function and rolling out tools and processes to strengthen the impact and relevance of Acted’s programmes around the world. 

Lucy is passionate about ensuring accountability to affected populations and strengthening data-driven aid programmes. As the aid sector evolves, Lucy’s work increasingly centres on understanding and responding to interlinked humanitarian, development, and environmental challenges through an area-based lens. 

Lucy holds a masters degree in International Security from Sciences-Po, Paris.
