The French Red Cross promotes the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law in order to develop, through its educational and civic activities, the ideals of peace, tolerance and mutual understanding among all people and nations, particularly among children and young people. In Normandy, the French Red Cross is present throughout the region and has more than 3,000 volunteers and 1,200 employees.
