The Normandy World Peace is a privileged place for intergenerational exchanges, reflection and consultation on the future of the world. It is also a place of possibilities where participants can put forward proposals to improve all the dysfunctions of our societies while preserving and respecting human rights. It was only natural that Docs up Fund, an association dedicated to feature-length documentary films promoting human rights, should find its place in this partnership, which focuses on films from around the world, supported with the help of the Forum for Peace and the Normandy Region. It also provides filmmakers of all backgrounds and nationalities with a window and a rare opportunity to come and discuss the issues facing the populations of their countries. They offer us a different perspective on the world, providing us with essential keys to understanding. We met and became partners with the Forum because we share the belief that nothing human is alien to us.
