Pellistrandi
Benoît Pellistrandi (1966), a former student of the École Normale Supérieure (Ulm), was a member and director of studies at the Casa de Velázquez (Madrid) from 1995 to 2005. A specialist in the political and cultural history of contemporary Spain, he has just published Les fractures de l'Espagne de 1808 à nos jours (The Fractures of Spain from 1808 to the Present Day), Paris, Folio Histoire, Gallimard (2022). He is also the author of Le labyrinthe catalan (The Catalan Labyrinth), Paris, Desclée de Brouwer, 2019. He is a history teacher in the hypokhâgne and khâgne preparatory classes at the Lycée Condorcet (Paris) and a corresponding member of the Real Academia de la Historia (Madrid).
