Eric Turquet de Beauregard

Eric TURQUET de BEAUREGARD, Commissioner General of the Navy, is currently leading the implementation of public/private partnerships on behalf of the Armed Forces Staff (International Relations Division). Previously, he worked mainly in operational legal advice, international cooperation and maritime security, and was deployed on several occasions in external operations (Kosovo, Afghanistan, Mali and Chad). 

He also worked for three years in New York as deputy military adviser to the French Permanent Representative to the United Nations Security Council.

He is a graduate of the French Naval Academy and the École de Guerre, and holds two Master's degrees ("International Law and International Organisations" - Paris I and "Defence and Security" - University of Toulon). He is a former auditor at the Institute for Higher National Defence Studies (major in "Maritime Issues and Strategies").

He is also the general delegate of the Synopia Institute.
