On 15 June, the University of Caen Normandy hosted the launch event for the UNESCO Chair ‘Memory and the Future of Peace: Law, History and Neuroscience for Lasting Peace’, a collaborative project dedicated to research and the dissemination of knowledge for peace.
Led by the University of Caen Normandy with the support of the Normandy Region and the International Institute for Human Rights and Peace, this chair embodies a shared ambition: to harness research, training and the dissemination of knowledge in the service of lasting peace.
This recognition by UNESCO honours the commitment of the researchers, teachers, partners and teams involved in this project. It opens up new opportunities to strengthen collaboration and advance knowledge in the service of peace.
