Forbidden Stories is an international organization whose mission is to continue the investigations of journalists who have been silenced by censorship, imprisonment, or assassination. Drawing on a global network of reporters, it protects and extends the work of threatened colleagues in order to guarantee access to information of public interest. Through journalistic collaboration, Forbidden Stories aims to deter violence against the press by demonstrating that silencing a journalist will only reinforce the dissemination of their revelations.
