Edward Stevenette

Edward designs and facilitates learning experiences that empower people to care for themselves, for others, and for the planet. At the Learning Planet Institute, he leads youth and student engagement initiatives, including the Learning Planet Youth Design Challenge, a global programme supporting young people as they develop education projects linked to wellbeing, sustainability, peace, and social impact.
Working at the crossroads of education, facilitation, and international cooperation, he develops programmes that connect young changemakers with educators, researchers, and institutions. He collaborates closely with UN partners and other international organisations to strengthen youth participation and support new approaches to learning and engagement.
Ed also brings a strong background in mediation, dialogue facilitation, and project management in international contexts. Across his work, he is driven by the belief that meaningful learning begins with connection: helping people clarify what matters to them, build trust across differences, and turn ideas into action.
